What is Graffiti?

Regardless of the style, size or colour, graffiti vandalism is a criminal offence when placed on public or private property. If not removed, it can lead to more acts of graffiti vandalism and and sends the wrong message that it's okay to put graffiti vandalism on your property. Help manage graffiti where you live by recording, reporting and removing graffiti.

The City of Edmonton is working to reduce and prevent graffiti vandalism to promote safer and cleaner communities. The Graffiti Management Program (GMP) is part of Capital City Clean Up.

The City of Edmonton has developed the Safe Needle Disposal Tool Kit to raise community awareness about needle safety, check it out or a play the clean up the playground game here

Edmonton residents love their clean, litter-free parks, streets and neighborhoods. Each year, citizens, community groups and businesses work with the litter-reduction and prevention programs at Capital City Clean Up to make Alberta’s capital city sparkle.

Join Edmontonians as they take 15 minutes sometime during the week of April 23 - 29 to step outside and step up and pick up some litter or report graffiti vandalism.
