Whispers around the Legislature suggest that the Tory Caucus, behind closed doors has two factions of when an election should be called. The sooner as opposed to later talk is whether to go right now, or wait until May. No one is saying, especially Service Alberta Minister Manmeet Bhullar.
"Other parties have been playing negative politics for years now not today," explains Bhullar. "They've been running negative ads for a long time, so quite frankly I think we're the party that has a positive message, we're the party that is going to take Alberta to a new plateau and I'm quite excited about it."
"Whether it happens two weeks from now, three weeks from now or four weeks from now I think we're ready to go," adds Bhullar.
Former Ralph Klein advisor Rod Love in his recent blog wrote about the three weeks of hell the party has been through.
Premier Alison Redford has promoted a fixed election date, however it's over a three month window between March 1sst and May 31st. (sj, twd)
