Embarrassing Things Kids Do...

Last night I was talking about how while shopping with my son yesterday a boy threw the biggest temper tantrum because his Dad wouldn't buy him McDonald's... He even went as far as clocking him in the chest full fist... Obviously the Dad was very embarrassed so I opened up the phone lines to find out what your kids have done in public that was embarrassing... Here's one of the calls I got.
Have your kids done anything to embarrass you in public???

I'm not sure this is what Brad Paisley had in mind when he ended the final leg of his "American Saturday Night" tour over the week-end... but as he was finishing his encore with his hit "Alcohol" this happens!!!

Stollery Radiothon

One of the most important events (especially if you have children) is upon us once again with our Annual Stollery Children's Hospital Radiothon... I know it can be difficult to hear some of the stories that the families share but also keep in mind that there's a lot of triumphant stories that come across the airwaves as well... We are so fortunate to have a top-notched facility in our own backyard and in part its thanks to all of you whom come through each and every year with donations... Speaking as a Mom... I had to use the Stollery Children's Hospital last year when my Son had a viral infection shortly after my Brother's Wedding... At the time we had no clue what was wrong with him all we knew is that he had a very dangerous fever that we just couldn't break with regular medicine... Of course walking through halls every ...

What A Difference A Day Makes!!!!

Of course Tuesday night Outback Amy was quite disappointed when she found out that she wouldn't be seeing Doc Walker that night... But what a difference a day makes... Not only did she get to see Doc Walker perform in Vancouver but she also got to hang out with the guys backstage before the show... and from the sounds of it she was on Cloud 9!!!!

Poor Outback Amy!!!

Well she's 4 days into her trip to the Olympics and from all the reports Outback Amy has been filing it sounds like she's having the time of her life in Vancouver meeting lots of new people including some of our Athletes... I know the one thing she was really looking forward to was seeing her first Country concert as Doc Walker is playing The Olympic Celebration Commodore Ballroom... The problem is she got a day ahead of herself and here's what happened when she called me last night.

One Of Those Days...

I talked about this on the air last night that my car was almost towed away from in front of my house yesterday morning... Again, totally my fault because the no-parking signs were up letting us know that snow removal was going to be happening first thing in the morning... I had mentioned that the Tow Truck Driver was awesome... After I embarrassed myself by running outside into the street in my PJ's with sleep still in my eyes... He just let me get in and pull it around into my driveway which is obviously something I should've done to begin with... Just as soon as I'm finished talking about this... Another driver calls me thinking that he knows who the guy is!!! Here's the audio from our conversation.
