Last weekend I surprised my girlfriend and took her on a nice romantic trip to calgary. We drove down saturday afternoon and got there about 4pm. We hung out a bit with some of our friends and had dinner with them at Peter's. Then we got a hotel for the night and enjoyed some of the sites of the city. We had a busy sunday planned so we decided to get a good night sleep. We were up bright and early sunday morning and thought we would do some shopping. We hit some of the major malls and ohh got some cool hockey stuff.......(If you know what my team is you know you can't find anything cool in stores here). And after that we decided to grab some food at this cool restaurant - Flames Central - It is kinda new but we had a blast - got a giant ...

The 2008 CFL Football Season is back and that means one thing........GREEN AND GOLD!!! This year the Eskimos are looking to bounce back and dominate the west. After missing the playoffs the last two years they are hungrier then ever and if the preseason was any indication its going to be a great season. Remember to keep it locked on CISN for your chance to win tickets to watch the Green and Gold. It has always been my opinion that the most important part of a sporting team is that extra man - the crowd. Let's get out there and cheer on our team. So I was thinkin this morning as it is the Canada Day Long Weekend - How many people know our Canadian anthem. I know that any sporting event like going to a hockey game, the anthem is one of the most important things for me. It is a part of who we are and the game we put on the map. But I thought I would give you a little info on Canada Day and I am wondering what it means to you - what does being canadian mean do you? Can you sing the canada anthem without the words - So what are your thoughts on this day and this long weekend. A weekend to enjoy with friends and family and just kick back and relax.......
