What an incredible morning at the Hair Massacure down at the Ice Palace WEM. Thousands of people going pink and shaving for 3 great charities. The Stollery Children's Hospital, Make a Wish and The Ronald McDonald House. Yesterday we talked to Edmonton Oiler Ryan Jones about his idea. He was going to shave his long hair but was told by Oiler fans they did not want the hair to go. So he set a goal of $5000 to be raised or he would shave it off.
With the help of our very generous boss we stepped up this morning and contributed close to $3000 so the 5 thousand would be raised. The weather has been great but I think we all remember a couple weeks back when it was -45. Thank God for the Hope Mission when that happens. On Saturday, February 25, Hope Mission is hosting the Coldest Night of the Year, a fundraiser that’s held in many cities across Canada to raise donations and awareness for local homeless shelters. The fundraiser is a 5 and 10 kilometre walk around downtown Edmonton, followed by a free hot chili supper back at Hope Mission. You get a taste of what life is like for a homeless person all while helping a great cause. For more information you can visit the website at www.coldestnightoftheyear.org or by phoning Kim at Hope Mission at 780-422-2018 extension 266.

We talked to Dean Brody from his home on the East Coast this morning. We talked about his new song Canadian Girls and I spend most of the interview trying to defend the fact I DO NOT have a "Man Crush" on him. You can listen to the interview right here.

Saw these Canadians on Ellen the other day. The fact that they have over 36 Million views of this video there is a good chance you have seen it. I had not so I thought I would share.
