It’s about time. Finally…. STANLEY CUP FINALS. And it’s gonna be a great series.
On one hand you have the team that has consistently finishing top in the league, season after season. Then on the other hand you have a team that was so crappy in the last few years, they were able to pick early in the draft and stack their team with some great young players.
As I have mentioned in previous blogs, I can’t and I won’t cheer for the Penguins. I’ll tell you why:
Have you ever seen a penguin? Ya ok, they are little and cute. They waddle around all weird. And pretty much are just food for polar bears. People don’t even eat penguins! Why you ask? Cause they suck at hockey. (One duck would destroy a whole colony of penguins)

……..And were back. Today I was thinking about all the things that I want to accomplish in my life. The list is pretty much never ending. But then I said to myself: “self, what about when you’re dead? What will you do then?”

Allrighty then…so in the last round of my playoff predictions I went 2 and 2 setting my overall total 7 and 5…which according to my calculations are pretty good, actually great!
Shall we take a look at the next round then? OK

Penguins Vs Flyers
If we look at the regular season the Flyers were a better team in the season series. However as we know that aint always accurate. If we look at the playoffs, even though the Flyers had to play a few more games, I’m gonna go out on the limb and say they were BETTER. OH YA and did I mention that the last time these two teams faced each other Pittsburg made sure that Crosby didn’t play! They were scared and they better be prepared to get beat down. Maybe they should give Crosby a safety blanket and some figure skates.

Hey there! How are you? That’s great! Now back to me…I think I can finally say that spring is here! Over the weekend I had a chance to do some golfing, went fishing (didn’t catch anything), played some basketball and broke out the short shorts. I gotta say I love this time of year.
I guess really the only thing I hate is birds. And not just because they can fly and I can’t, it’s because they won’t shut up. When I get off at 6 AM, I really just want to go home and sleep for a few hours, But NO! The stinking crows or seagulls or magpies or squackatty squacks have got to tell all the other birds around my windows their life stories. I thought if I just ignored them it would be ok. All right Boys and Girls…lets do this. In the first round I went 5 for 8 which to most people is astounding! However I feel as if the NHL cheated me out of a couple series. I am beating Jimmy the Intern though “surprise surprise’ and for the second round I can pretty much guarantee all my picks. (its almost too easy)

Really? It took you seven games to beat Boston! Wow, how are you first in the East. Oh and by the way yours fans aren’t as good as Edmonton fans, they’re just crazy. So just because the Oilers didn’t make it, there’s no reason not to watch them. The Playoffs are set to go! I mean this is by far the biggest sport in Canada. I’m ready to park myself in front of the tube and yell myself deaf watching the playoffs this year.
And I always need to make my picks! Not that I’m always right but when I am, don’t worry you’ll know about it. So with out further doo doo here they are:

-Canadians Vs Bruins
This one seems like a no brainer for me. I have no idea how Boston even made the playoffs and the Habs have been pretty stellar all season.

Well back for another blog! I want to start off by saying thanks to the awesome blog people for making that snazzy header. I mean check out that marvelous blue brain just above these words. WOW! That’s the actual color of a brain that has been painted blue. (Look it up)

Now that we got that cleared up, lets talk concerts. Can you believe it? It’s amazing how many great concerts are coming to Edmonton. Martina McBride was here this week, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift are here in just a couple of days! As we move into April, Corb Lund on the 4th and then Alan Jackson and Brooks & Dunn!

Wow! The time has come. County gettin’ his own blog!! You can tell I’m excited by the use of the two exclamation points instead of the standard one. Sooooo…….now the big question…what to write about?
