Doritos!
Apparently 15% of homes who had a PVR and were watching the superbowl, stopped this ad and played it back again. It is pretty funny. If you want to check out the rest of the Superbowl ads, check out CBS.com or do a youtube search!

The crazy folks at PETA are at it again...this time going after the Zac Brown Band and their famous "Eat and Greets" Check out this letter...
Dear Zac, Jimmy, John, Coy, Clay, and Chris,
Greetings from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and congratulations on your Grammy win for Best New Artist! As you may know, PETA is the largest animal rights organization in the world, with more than 2 million members and supporters dedicated to the protection of animals. You have many fans here at PETA.
We're writing today to ask you to extend your love of freedom to animals by agreeing to partner with us on a veggie "eat and greet" for your fans. In your song "Chicken Fried," you praise the simple pleasures of life-a cool drink, a home filled with love, enjoying the sunshine-all pleasures that are denied to the millions of cows, ...

Seeing as how I will most likely never win a Grammy *fingers crossed for best spoken word album* this is as close as I'll get to backstage. The Zac Brown band won an award for best new artist and had the cameras rolling to catch all the excitement of the night. Enjoy!

Today I mentioned the "Great American Burrito Challenge" Basically a guy down in the US challenged himself to eat a Burrito from the restaurant Chipolte for every meal, for a week. The reason? Well aside from Burritos being awesome...it's to raise money for his local children's hospital. To check out his progress in fundraising...and weight gain, here's the official website:
Keep in mind, each burrito has about 1150 calories each, meaning he'll ingest 3450 calories a day, about 1200 more than is recomended.

First off I apologize for my lack of blog updating over the last little bit. I'm in the process of moving which is taking up free time.
However, Sunday is going to be an exciting night. The Grammy awards are set to be handed out. In terms of music awards to win, these are it. I always find the Grammy's awarded to be based on the actual music. Some other awards shows seem to rely too much on reputation or as a popularity contest. Here's my predictions for the country music awards:
Best Female Country Vocal Performance
For a solo vocal performance. Singles or Tracks only.
Dead Flowers
Miranda Lambert
[Columbia Records]
I Just Call You Mine
Martina McBride
Track from: Shine
[RCA Records]
White Horse
Taylor Swift
Track from: Fearless
[Big Machine Records]
Just A Dream
Carrie Underwood
Track from: Carnival Ride
[Arista Nashville]
Solitary Thinkin'
Lee Ann Womack...

Keith Urban has stated before that he'd like to do a duet with his wife Nicole Kidman sometime. If they ever decide to record something together, here's a sneak peak of what it may sound like. This was a parody song they did to honour Simon Baker at the G'day USA dinner, used to honour Aussies who impact the USA. Simon Baker is currently starring on the CBS show, the Mentalist.

Imagine tomorrow you wake up, and your home is destroyed. Not only your home demolished, but your work. The school your kids attend is reduced to rubble. You have hurt yourself, yet have no where to get medical attention or even drugs to help. Worse yet, you have no way of contacting your family. You have no way to know if they're safe, or to let them know you are safe. Your thoughts immediately turn to the worst. You hear rumours that 100,000 people are assumed dead, probably including some people you know.
You wander through the streets, tip toeing around buildings sitting precariously, ready to topple. On one side of the street, dead bodies lay. You see children with open wounds, elderly with broken bones and people sleeping in the streets all around you. To make things worse, you have no food to eat. Even your most basic need ...

Let me be the first to say, that I love Conan O'Brien and I really hope that he doesn't end up getting the boot from the tonight show or leaving on his own. While I don't mind Jay Leno, his humour to me has always come across as scripted. Conan is like Johnny Carson and you can really expect the unexpected with his improv.
If you haven't already seen Conan's statements about the recent events, here it is. Apparently he was up all night writing it. I have to say he handled things he wrote as well as one could given his situation.
People of Earth:
In the last few days, I’ve been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I’ve been getting paid to do ...
