CISN Cruiser Events

This weekend was so much fun! First of all, I should mention that the CISN Cruiser is now a beautiful, brand new, black Dodge RAM with gorgeous red and white decals all over it! So keep your eyes peeled for that from now on!

But back to this weekend... It started on Saturday with the 2013 Tim Horton's Brier Tankard Tour. Tracie Gray and I travelled all over Edmonton and it's surrounding areas with the Tankard and got to hang out with people of Edmonton as they came to view the Tankard. (We also got a couple of free cups of coffee, which was excellent!!)

Sunday was also a ton of fun and the reason for the name of this blog! I headed down to the Silver Skate Festival where I met up with some of our friends from the new 92-5 Fresh FM and checked out all of the amazing snow sculptures, handed out some swag and eventually made our way over to the Speed Skating ring... where.... we found out, Olympic athletes were giving FREE TUTORIALS! OH my goodness!! I signed up right away (they had one spot left!!!) and I took a half an hour lesson and by the end of it, I was amazed at the progress I had made.... So, I think I'm going to have to switch my profession!! :) haha.
