Tenille,
On the Thursday show I talked to Tenille who is 15 years young and is from Grande Prairie. She started playing guitar a year ago and is writing songs and recorded this song about a Soldiers Daughter you just have to hear. Keep in mind she did a very basic recording of the song, but you will get the idea. The first part is the song and the second part is my interview with her. Her website is www.tenillesings.com.

Tenille sang this song at a Grande Prairie Storm hockey game last Friday during the team's salute to the military. The crowd loved it and so did the military men who were at the game. We were all very touched.

We as parents hope that our children will touch the lives of others in their lifetime and knowing that you have done it in such a way at just 15 years old is a beautiful thing. The sky is the limit! Fantastic job Tenille!

I truly enjoy songs that touch the heart. It really shows from the responses that people are still caring and sensitive to what is really happening in the world. Tenille brings it home and makes it real that we are all affected one way or another. Loved it and will look forward to the release and will be looking forward to hearing more from this new upcoming star.

As aserving member and father of two other serving this song hits home and I realize what my wife and sons thought about when I did not communicate with them for days. Very strong and powerful song for a 14 year old to write and produce. Waiting for this song to be completed and available to aquire.

I heard the song for the first time on my way home from shopping this morning. I had to pull over to wipe away the tears. I never had to go through loosing my dad this way (even though I have lost my dad who was in the military). This song hit home with most of my life with the military in one form or another and with so many friends in the miltary and one friend son over in Aficanistan who had two sons of his own. When it comes out I will be buying it. Way to go Tenille.

I listened to Tenille's song last night on my way home from work - half way thru I was crying so hard I had to pull over and park - it is the most touching heartfelt song I have ever heard - this young lady has a wonderful future ahead of her with this kind of talent at such a young age - keep writing and singing Tenille - you are wonderful !
