What a tiring last couple of weeks- I’m running on fumes right now. I still can’t believe this is the last weekend of August because it’s just flown by. Who’s a little sleepy today? I know I am. That was quite the thunderstorm we had last night … kept me up until after midnight, which is way past my bedtime. Here’s hoping today goes fast because then not only can I have a nap but it will also be the weekend! Here’s a sneak peak into where I’ll be this weekend:

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you already know that Capital Ex is officially underway. I had a great time watching part of the parade yesterday and I’m looking forward to heading to the grounds this weekend for all the Capital Ex fun I can handle. Fun to me used to be the rides but as I get older rides unfortunately don’t agree with me as well as they used to. One thing that still agrees with me is the fair food. I LOVE the Lemonade, ...
