SPRING IS IN THE AIR!

Wow! It’s crazy nice outside and I love it! The only downside- the puddle that I park in every day is quite deep. It makes for an interesting exit to my car when I get home. The other day it was at least 2 inches deep and I was just wearing ballet flat shows. Puddle – 1, Andrea – 0. Oh well. We have to go through this in order for the really warm weather to come so it’s all worth it … even though it might not seem like it when you’re standing in a big puddle. I’m going to break out my rubber boots this weekend. Maybe you’ll be lucky enough to see them this weekend if you join me out and about in the CISN Mills Nissan Community Cruiser- they are pretty spectacular!

ZOO-LYPMICS, MINI-GOLF, & BIG WINTER!

I’m a little sad today … I honestly can’t believe that on Sunday the Olympics will be coming to a close. It’s not a lie when I say I’ve done nothing but watch Olympics since they’ve started. As a matter of fact, I’ve not only watched them on TV, flipping back and forth between channels, I’ve also had streaming video on my laptop. The withdrawal I’m going to be experiencing after Sunday night is going to be ridiculous. I’m pretty sure the only person who will be happy they’re over is my sister because then she’ll be able to watch some TV other than the Olympics. I’m going to pull myself away from the Olympic action again this weekend (as hard as it is for me to do) and hit the road for another weekend of fun in the CISN Mills Nissan Community Cruiser- I hope to see you ...

A BREAK FROM OLYMPIC ACTION

Posted 2/19/2010 10:55:00 AM

Who else out there has been an Olympic couch potato for the past week? I’m even having a hard time dragging myself to work because I want to sit and watch the action all day. I love the Olympics, and I think my love is even worse this year because 4 years ago, I went to Mexico for my best friend’s wedding and missed them. I’m going to tear myself away from the couch this weekend to hit the road in the CISN Mills Nissan Community Cruiser and I hope you’ll be able to do the same and join me.

The Silver Skate Festival is taking place this weekend at Hawrelak Park and it’s the longest running winter festival in Edmonton- this is its 20th year! This wonderful event has something for everyone. You can try snowshoeing, ice skating, and cross country skiing- and the best part is ...

AUTOGRAPHS AND RV’S!

Posted 2/12/2010 10:09:00 AM

I’m just giddy inside right now for the start of the Olympics. Anyone else out there feel that way? I still remember the day Vancouver was awarded them … and I can’t believe they’re here! EEK! I’m pretty much going to be a couch potato for the next 16 days watching as much of the action as possible (especially curling, figure skating, and hockey!)- that is of course, when I’m not out and about in the CISN Mills Nissan Community Cruiser on the weekend.

It’s Family Day weekend so not only is it a long weekend, there are lots of great events to visit with your family. I’m actually taking Sunday off to spend the day with my family … it’s our annual tobogganing party at my Aunt and Uncle’s farm and I’m really looking forward to it!

Before I head out of town, I’ve got a busy ...

Renos, Big Trucks, ... and a New Year?!?!

Anybody else out there excited for the weekend? This weekend is going to be a busy one in the CISN Mills Nissan Community Cruiser so I hopefully you’ll be able to fit me into your schedule.

I’m not normally a big fan of renovation shows. Don’t get me wrong, I like looking at all of the beautiful ideas, it’s just that I’ve never actually had anything to renovate before so I would get all of these cool ideas but wouldn’t be able to do anything about them. This year is different though because my sister and I bought our very first place and it’s being built as I type this (well I hope they’re working on it anyways) so I’m really stoked to check out the Renovation Show at the Edmonton Expo Centre this weekend. Now, a brand new place isn’t going to need a bunch of renovations ...
