What a tiring last couple of weeks- I’m running on
fumes right now. I still can’t believe this is the last weekend of August
because it’s just flown by. I’ve been staying up late and getting up early with
my sister’s new puppy (she’s the cutest little puppy ever!); packing, moving,
and unpacking; cleaning my new house (which I finally got possession of 13
months after I bought it because construction took sooooooo long); cleaning my
old place to get the damage deposit back; and dealing with the passing of my
Grandpa. Needless to say, it’s been a pretty mind-boggling last 2 weeks with
some incredible highs and incredibly sad lows. I’ve survived but I could use a

on this weekend. Of course now I’m rushed so I’m going to keep this short and
sweet. I hope to see out about and about in your travels this weekend as I hit
the road in the CISN Mills Nissan Community Cruiser.
The sweet sounds of the Caribbean will be taking
over downtown and Sir Winston Churchill Square this weekend as Cariwest is back
for another year. You’ll enjoy the steel drum music of the Caribbean,
incredible West Indian Cuisine, beautiful colours, a relaxing atmosphere, and
more at Sir Winston Churchill Square, and the Cariwest Parade definitely
...

Who’s a little sleepy today? I know I am. That was
quite the thunderstorm we had last night … kept me up until after midnight,
which is way past my bedtime. Here’s hoping today goes fast because then not
only can I have a nap but it will also be the weekend! Here’s a sneak peak into
where I’ll be this weekend:
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you already
know that Capital Ex is officially underway. I had a great time watching part
of the parade yesterday and I’m looking forward to heading to the grounds this
weekend for all the Capital Ex fun I can handle. Fun to me used to be the rides
but as I get older rides unfortunately don’t agree with me as well as they used
to. One thing that still agrees with me is the fair food. I LOVE the Lemonade,
