The Christmas season is in full-swing! From parties, shopping, and baking to wrapping gifts, Christmas music, and giving to those less fortunate, the Christmas spirit is alive and well. One of my favourite things about this time of the year is all the beautiful Christmas lights, and there are some pretty incredible light displays right here in Edmonton and area!
There are the big ones (click for more information!):
There are also a lot of people that put so much time and effort into decorating their houses at this time of the year. I’m always very impressed when I see these incredible displays. I have enough trouble putting up lights in my tree and a single line of lights on my house.
You know the phrase “Ask and you shall receive”? I asked CISN Country listeners where the best decorated houses in Edmonton are and I got a bunch of responses!
Curtis texted into 103939 and said we all need to go to his parents house at 7 Patterson Crescent in St. Albert. Their light display is choreographed to music when you tune into 88.9FM. As an added bonus, Curtis says his parents love it when people come by and his mom gives out sugar cookies!
When you’re done checking out Curtis’ parent’s house, you can head on over to 6 Embassy Place in St. Albert for another music-choreographed Christmas light display! How cool does this look?!?
CISN Country listeners were commenting up a storm on my Facebook post yesterday (December 8) about where the best lights displays in Edmonton and area are. Click on the post below to read the comments with the addresses to some amazing displays for you to check out!
And one last one for you! Have you ever heard about Christmas at Bob’s? My sister and I stumbled on it about 6 years ago (it involved not wanting to sit a a corner making a left hand turn so I turned right) … it was a great decision because we found this incredible Christmas lights display! Check it out at 7421-108 St NW.
If you’re anything like me, your mind will be blown at the spectacular display!
