Some of my favourite memories as a kid around Christmas time are being in the car with my Brother, Mom and Dad as we drove around looking at all the beautiful Christmas light displays. The problem is, sometimes you don’t really know which neighbourhoods to check out and the driver kinda has to be focused on the road. I’ve got the solution for you, the ETS is offering Christmas Light tours again this year! Here’s when you can go
- Friday, December 8
- Saturday, December 9
- Sunday, December 10
- Friday, December 15
- Saturday, December 16
- Sunday, December 17
There are 3 tours you can choose from on those days, one at 6:00, one at 6:15 and the last one is at 6:30
“Tours will depart from the north side of City Hall on 99 Street and 103A Avenue (bus stop #1123).
Tickets are $5 each and will be on sale through Tix On The Square starting December 1. Tickets must be picked up in person prior to your tour.
All proceeds go to the Donate-a-Ride program.
This year, tours will begin at the Alberta Legislature where guests will be able to view the display and listen to the choirs. Next, tours will depart to Candy Cane Lane and return to Churchill Square and City Hall.”
