“Christmas season is upon us, the wonder of winter is near,
Celebrate the glow of lights and express your Christmas cheer.
The arrival of Santa Claus and his bright, sparkly sleigh,
Is sure to bring smiles to everyone’s day.
Bundle up tight and gather downtown
To see the magic of Christmas erase any frowns.
The more the merrier, so bring everyone you know,
To stand under the lights and the fresh fallen snow!”
So that was last year, this year you need to be ready for the fun on Saturday November 18th at 5:30. Bundle up with your family, make some hot coco, pack it in a thermos and head down to Jasper Ave. It goes 8 blocks from 100th to 108th st.

If you’ve already got your letter to Santa written and ready to go, you should bring it to Santa’s Parade of Lights!! Make sure you sign it with your name and address, put it in an envelope and make it out to Santa, there will be drop off boxes at the event and helpers to collect your letter :). There’s actually a template to use that makes it so much easier, you can download it by clicking here.
There’s actually going to be some food trucks around for you and the fam to grab a snack but remember to layer up and bring a chair if you want to sit! If you need to know anything else, you can click here.
