Do you like Hockey?
Yeah, I figured as much. Well then, you’re going to LOVE this!
The Edmonton Oilers are getting set to host the NHL Centennial Fan Arena downtown in Ice District!
The Fan Arena is one of the main pillars of the NHL’s 100 year celebration and we’ll be able to check it out right here in Edmonton November 3rd through 5th on the former Baccarat lot next to Rogers Place!
So what can we expect? Well, quoting the Oilers’ website:
fans will be treated to guest appearances by members of the 1984-85[Edmonton Oilers] team in addition to one-of-a-kind historical Oilers memorabilia, interactive digital displays and original video content in the Museum Truck. Also onsite, the NHL is bringing its Clear the Ice Zamboni Virtual Reality Experience – a never-before-seen VR experience that allows fans to compete against each other in a race to resurface the ice.
Hunter, the official Oilers mascot, along with members of the Orange & Blue Ice Crew will also be onsite throughout the weekend.
So cool! I don’t know about you, but I’ve ALWAYS wanted a picture with the cup. It’ll be here November 3rd from 12-5pm and November 4th from 12-3pm! More info can be found here.
