If you’re looking for some Halloween fun other than the annual house party or bar hopping this might be right up your ally! From October 26-29th you can head to Telus World of Science for a movie marathon on their big screen. There are a few family friendly movies so you can go with the kids, like Hotel Transylvania at 4:30 on the 28tth!
BUT that movie isn’t JUST a movie…they’re having a costume party with it. Come dressed up in your costume around 2:30 and they’ll have “spooky science” activities for a couple hours before the movie starts at 4:30. You can click here to get your tickets
The other family friendly movie (and one of my personal favourites) for that weekend is Sunday the 29th, you can watch “The Addams Family” at 4:30! Then you’ll have this fun little song in your head for at least a week…
Now for the creepy movies! If you really wanna be scared, maybe cuddle up for a date night…here are some of the movies you’ll want to check out during the marathon.
On Friday the 27th at 9:15, you can watch “Friday the 13th” on the big screen!
Saturday your double dip of freaky will probably mean you won’t sleep that night after watching “Poltergeist” at 7:30 and “The Shining” at 9:15
If you want to see what other movies they’re showing on the big screen, just go here. As I was checking out this movie marathon, I saw a headline about a “Pixar adult access night” and got REAL excited. I love Pixar…and I’m an adult…so this should be good. I didn’t really know what it was about though, so I called Caroline at the Telus World of Science to see what we get to do from 5:30-10 on October 26th.
