Turns out, you really can get anything at Costco…even married!
Sue Berkeley and her fiance Eli Bob tied the knot at the Costco in Casula, a suburb of Sydney, Australia on Saturday! The question on all of our minds…why Costco? Well, as Sue told 9news.com prior to the big day,
“Where else can I get married to the one I love, in the place that I love, surrounded by the people I love?”
I dunno…your backyard?! Either way, Sue’s son Josh, who walked her down the aisle, wasn’t surprised at all to hear about the location!
“She loves this place so much and she’s here all the time, it’s like a second home, so when she told me, it just made sense.”
Dollars and sense! The reception was held in the Costco food court and the couple spent under $10 per person on the meal! The menu? Pizzas, meat pies, hot dogs, unlimited pop, a giant cake and a special one-day-only return of Berkeley’s favourite Korean barbecue meat.
This is all amazing, isn’t it? 9news was also there to capture the “news” – press play below.
Best part of the story? The Costco didn’t even close for the occasion! I hope all those that were shopping left the happy couple a gift!

Reactions were mixed…some LOVED the idea!
Some…not so much.
While others just took the opportunity to make a joke.
