I don’t know what it is that Jim Carrey puts in his coffee…but I want some.
The star of films like Dumb and Dumber, The Mask and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective among many others, gave an incredibly strange interview this weekend on the red carpet of Harper’s Bazaar’s party at New York Fashion Week on Friday night. You’ll quickly notice Carrey circling Catt Sadler from E! News to begin the interview…it only gets weirder from there.
“There’s no meaning to any of this”
“There is no me. There’s just things happening.”
Then, at one point, Carrey breaks into an impression of James Brown, because why not. Press play to check it out, below!
So, IMO…Carrey has either attained some higher level of vibration or knowing than I have, or he’s just trying to confirm to himself that he’s not still on The Truman Show.
Some people are blaming the reporter…
The interviewer was so obnoxious with those faces and attitude. Its Jim Carrey what kind of interview did you think you were going to get— Elisa (@Tigerlilybeauty) September 10, 2017
Probably a better one if she hadn't mentioned him looking for a gf at the beginning when his gf committed suicide just last year.— lil josscah (@jjessicalynn) September 11, 2017
While others are just up with what Jim was throwing down!
LOL I want what he's on. But politically speaking he certainly has a point they don't matter!— Kim Fields-Koonmen (@LuvKimmie1) September 10, 2017
He's not wrong. We are nothing, yet everything, we don't matter. We're a bunch of atoms linked together, lol he's looking at the big picture— Lance Clancy (@IndyStyles_) September 10, 2017
Carrey has since moved on to the Toronto International Film Festival, where he sat down and gave a slightly less strange interview with The Hollywood Reporter about his new film, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond.
