Marvel’s Black Panther won’t hit theatres until February 16, 2018 but on Friday morning (June 9), the movie’s first poster was released on Twitter with the news the teaser trailer would follow later that evening during Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Fans tuned into the game, which Cleveland won 137-116 to force a Game 5, and patiently waited for the teaser trailer to air. It was well worth the wait!
This isn’t the first time that we’ve seen Black Panther on the big screen though. We were introduced to T’Challa/Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Black Panther also stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Martin Freeman, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
Fans (and other Marvel stars!) are excited to see a full-length Black Panther movie in early 2018!

The new #BlackPanther trailer looks real good. The cinematography alone makes it worth it. The actors and action also look spectacular.

While we have to wait until February to see Black Panther, Marvel has your superhero movie cravings satisfied until then. In less than a month, Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit the big screen so mark July 7 on your calendar!
On November 3, Thor: Ragnarok is being released!
And, after Black Panther’s release, we’ll only have to wait a few months to see one of the most anticipated movies of 2018. The Avengers: Infinity War is set for release on May 4, 2018, and the countdown is on until we see Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, The Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, The Winter Soldier, and more battle it out on the silver screen!
