How busy was this weekend in our fair city? VERY! You couldn’t shake a stick without hitting something awesome to do (if that makes any sense). Here’s a little snapshot of the weekend that was!
Dean Brody kicked it off with his very first school performance for the kids at Leo Nickerson School in St. Albert, the school that raised the most money for the Hair Massacure!
Fast forward a few short hours and Dean was back on the big stage melting faces at Northlands.
And who could forget how awesome the James Barker Band was opening up for him? And we love a group of dudes who aren’t afraid of a good selfie.
And Madeline Merlo looked and sounded as good as ever!
Let’s just say Friday set the pace for the madness of Saturday. The big draw was for sure the St Albert Rainmaker Music Fest. Sure, the music was great, but we did more than just give people tickets to the show, the Scheetz Kool Bus speed dating made it’s glorious return!
the boys from the Washboard Union kicked things off in spectacular fashion.
Look at all those beautiful people. Here’s hoping some lasting connections were made!
We also celebrated a pretty big birthday Saturday night, it was headliner Brett Kissel’s 27th! We couldn’t NOT bring him a little gift…
Yeah, you could say it was a good weekend.
