Authorities in Dover, Delaware say a man arrested for making a threat forced the postponement of a concert by The Band Perry.
Police say 35-year-old Dzmitry Papou and another man asked at the Americana Bayside Welcome Center about getting tickets for the concert a few blocks away. An employee said it was sold out. One of the men allegedly said, “What if we jump the fence?” and the employee said they’d be kicked out and possibly arrested. Papou then said, “What if we jump the fence with guns?” Papou told authorities one of the men made a comment about jumping the fence but denies that either said anything about guns.
Papou surrendered yesterday after hearing about the story on the news.
The Band Perry rescheduled the show for August 17.
