Perhaps, the more interesting thing to consider is what eating 70 hot dogs in 10 minutes would feel like…but I’m not a Doctor, so this will have to do.
The annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest took place today, as it does every year on July 4th at Nathan’s Famous in New York City. It was a return to grace for one of competitive eating’s all-time-greats(they take this stuff seriously down there…) as after losing last year, Joey Chestnut won his 9th “Mustard Yellow International Belt” and set a new world record in the process.
Yes, he topped the former mark, which he also owned, of 69 hot dogs in 10 minutes by one…and took home a cool $10 000 as his prize. Not bad for a light lunch! I wonder if there are many endorsement opportunities for a guy like Joey? Congrats bud!
