The WORST song Garth ever wrote
Garth was with Lee Brice and and songwriters Jessi Alexander and Bobby Braddock. They were in Nashville performing at the “First and the Worst” fundraiser, which I’m pretty sure Brett Kissel was at…considering he posted this pic yesterday morning!
After the guys talked about their worst songs, the performed some of the best they’d written. Brooks did “That Summer” Lee Brice did “I Drive Your Truck” but neither of those songs got the best reaction for the crowd. Bobby Braddock had a woman in tears after performing the George Jones classic “He Stopped Loving Her Today” which he co-wrote. “That’s why we all write songs — every once in awhile you make somebody cry,” said Braddock. “We’re sadistic like that.”
