Something about this city really gets in the fabric of who you are. Growing up in Bonnyville when people said the city everyone automatically new you were talking about Edmonton. Like it was the centre of the universe and everyone knew it. If anything new, or , cool, or exciting was happening it either was there or came from there. I used to sit and have my cereal every morning and listen to 630 CHED when it was a rock station and watch tears roll out of my Dads eyes as he would laugh so hard at the morning show while we filled up for the day ahead. Now to be here on the radio and be a part of the culture in this place blows my mind every day. It is something that I never take lightly and is a huge honour. Saturday night the city gave me another honour, a sold out show at the River Cree with the Road Hammers. I was stunned to walk out to 2000 people on their feet ready to rock! And I said it that night and will say it again that the people of Edmonton help give me the career I have today and I will forever be grateful for that. Thank you for an amazing night on Saturday Edmonton. And from my family, my wife, my kids, thank you for letting us be a part of this place and call it home.
