Garth Brooks is finally getting with the times. After announcing his new album would be available digitally on GhostTunes, (his music has never been available for digital download before) the superstar then took another big technological step. He joined Facebook and Twitter.
In a video he shot presumably on his phone, in a hotel room, he tells his new friends in low places, “I really wasn’t sure about this at the start. But then a friend of mine said something that just made all kinds of sense. She said, ‘Think of it more as a conversation.’ I like that.”
Sounding a little unsure about what to post aside from cool stuff, slick stuff and raw stuff, the Garth social media blitz has proven to be quite successful! Having only been on social media for less than 2 days, the G-man already has over 73 thousand fans following him on Twitter, and over one million ‘Likes’ on his Facebook page.
Posting a couple personal video’s on the social media sites, and answering as many fan questions as possible proves Garth is ready to take on the social media world. Is there anything this man can’t do?
“Man Against Machine”, Garth’s first album in over a decade is in stores, and available on GhostTunes now.
