He’s got a few songs that will surely be heard in an arena or two around the league this year, so I suppose it’s only fair the Tim Hicks is set to be part of the 2014-15 NHL Season’s opening night.
Hicks will join Canadian rock band, The Tragically Hip, for the 2014 Molson Canadian Face-off hockey and music festival to take place in down-town Toronto this Wednesday, October 8th. Portions of the event will be shown on Sporsnet’s broadcast of the Toronto Maple Leafs-Montreal Canadiens game, with Hick’s performance to take place during the first intermission.
While the game will air coast-to-coast, Tim Hicks can also be seen live across the country as he and Randy Houser are out in support of Dierks Bentley on his Riser Tour. More info can be found here!
5:01, the sophomore album from Hicks, was released back in August. The second single, “She Don’t Drink Whiskey Anymore” has a brand new music video and it can only be seen at CMT.ca!
