A night out at the Grand Ole Opry is something you’ll never experience anywhere else. It’s historic, charming, there’s always great music, and some very special moments are not uncommon either.
Little Big Town performed at the Opry in Nashville on Friday evening, and during “Pontoon” they were quite surprised when an extra voice chime in for “mmmotorboatin'”. Well that additional voice was non-other than Reba McEntire. “I know the Grand Ole Opry is very important to y’all, because this is the first place you guys played together as a group in 1999,” Reba says to the quartet. “Little Big Town, would y’all like to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry?”
After all the members obviously said “yes” Karen Fairchild piped up and said, “Thank you, Grand Ole Opry! We will try to make you proud!” The group will officially be inducted on October 17 by Vince Gill.
