Earlier this week Forbes released their annual list of the highest paid country musicians and for the second year in a row Toby Keith takes the top spot.
Country music’s cash king has more to his name than just his tunes, as his $65 Million total was helped by his chain of I Love This Bar and Grill restaurants, a massive endorsement deal with Ford, his own brand of liquor and the acts he’s signed to his Show Dog label.
Coming in a close second was Taylor Swift and her total of $64 Million, bolstered by her massive Red Tour and various endorsement deal with Diet Coke and others. Without a major tour this past year, it’s perhaps a little surprising that Kenny Chesney ranked third at $44 Million. Rounding out the top five were Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan, earning $37 Million and $34 Million respectively.
