The concert announcements are rolling out now for the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood world tour. After announcing 10 shows for Chicago, and setting ticket sales records (previously set by Garth himself) he’s announced another city on the tour.
After Chicago they’ll be heading south to Atlanta, Georgia for September 19. It’s been over 18 years since Garth has played the Philips Arena. In true Garth fashion, he’s doing his best to keep ticket prices low throughout the entire tour. Tickets will be $56.94 plus taxes and fees equaling $71.50 for Atlanta. It’s probably safe to assume ticket prices will be around the same price when he comes to Canada, hopefully sooner rather than later.
Tickets go on sale on August 8 but there are some rules when it comes to purchasing these tickets. They have set a 6 ticket limit for this show, and the tickets will only be available at Ticketmaster online or by phone. No fans looking to purchase tickets will be able to line up at the venue box office or at any Ticketmaster location.
Now that 2 cities have been announced for this tour, there should be more to come very soon. Even more importantly, hopefully some Canadian dates will be announced in the mix.
