It’s been a long road for Randy Travis. After suffering a stroke last July, it looks like he’s finally on the road to recovery.
Last month, rumors were floating around that Randy wasn’t able to speak for a almost a year following his stroke. His therapist stated he could be back on stage singing within 3 years. So what’s really going on?
James Hilliard, co-owner of Clark’s Outpost Barbecue in Texas says “He’s pushed himself hard. He’s getting around normal and seems to be doing ok.”
Bonnie Paul, who co-wrote “Childhood Sweethearts” with Randy has no doubt that he’ll be back performing sooner rather than later. “He’s taking great strides and getting better. If he gets back his strength, then anything is possible.” She also says the singer is starting to make progress by humming and is hoping to one day make a come back.
