George Canyon to celebrate a “Decade of Hits” with tour and album.

/ CISN Country

It’s hard to believe but it has been ten years since we saw George Canyon as a runner up on the reality show Nashville Star 2.

Since then, the former police officer has had a slew of hits and won numerous awards including two Junos and multiple CCMA’s.   To celebrate the milestone George has announced that a new album is in the works. “Decade of Hits” is set for release this September and will feature a look back at the biggest songs of George’s career and also a few newer tracks like “Slow Dance” and “Crazy Love”.

The album will go hand in hand with a coast to coast Canadian tour. The 29 date Decade of Hits tour will begin September 11th in Brantford, ON with stops in PEI, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta before wrapping up in Campbell River, BC on October 19th.

You can view a full list of the tour dates along with all the details on the new album here.
