Brad Paisley has been named as part of another Disney project, having previously supplied songs to Cars and Cars 2.

Working with Pixar yet again, this time for a movie called Planes: Fire & Rescue, Brad has recorded two songs for the feature and will be supplying the voice for one of the characters, a pickup truck in a place called Honkers Sports Bar.

The film itself is the second in the Planes series and will star the likes of Dane Cook, Ed Harris and Teri Hatcher.  Dusty(also appeared in the first Planes film & voiced by Dane Cook), the film’s protagonist is an air race plane, who after suffering damage to his engine,  transitions to the world of aerial firefighting.

Brad has said the project was an easy one to get on board with as both his father and brother-in-law are firefighters.  The film will hit theaters July 18th.

Paisley is currently on tour ahead of his upcoming tenth studio album, Moonshine in the Trunk, due out August 26th.  Check out the music video for the lead single, “River Bank,” below!
