It’s no secret that George Strait is hanging up his touring hat this June, and he’s not doing it quietly. On the road since 1981, and now 61 years old, he’s decided it’s time for a final tour. And what would an exciting final tour be without lots of famous guests!!
Strait took the stage in Nashville for a final time on Friday, with Sheryl Crow as his opening act. Kenny Chesney joined Strait on stage for “Amarillo by Morning”, and Eric Church helped performed “Cowboys Like Us”.
George Strait’s final show is scheduled for June 7 in Arlington, Texas with special guests Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Alan Jackson and Martina McBride.
