One of the worst feelings in the world is not being able to find your tickets to a concert. Usually I’m pretty good at keeping them in a safe place, but this time….oh no, I couldn’t find them for days!!
The concert I’m going to isn’t for another couple months still, but I was selling two of them to a friend (for face value, don’t worry, I’m not a scalper!) So I go to find the tickets the other day to give them to him, and I can NOT find them for the life of me. They’re not in ANY of the usual places I would put them, not in any of the “safe” places I put things either. Arrrrg. I’m starting to panic.
I’ve been doing some very thorough spring cleaning at home, and I saw the tickets two weeks ago so I spent DAYS trying to remember where I would have put them. I dumped out 3 large bags of recycling just to make sure they didn’t end up in there. And they didn’t.
Where did I finally find them? In a really stupid spot.
I have these old scrap books full of concert tickets, autographed 8×10’s, pictures with country stars etc. and I remembered putting some more old tickets in there to deal with later. But I would be dumb to place these concert tickets in there. Several page flips later, there they were. *face palm*
So happy I found them, but still kicking myself for being such a clumsy organizer. And this is why spring cleaning is bad. That’s what I’ve concluded.
What have you ever lost in your house, and later found in a weird place? Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s done this…
