The roar of motorcycles and the smiles of kids defined the 11th Annual Ride for Hunger in Redwater, AB. 45 minutes north of Edmonton. Rain or shine the ride was going to go off but sadly this was the first year rain accompanied the ride. No problem though, the fun spirit of the organizers, fellow vendors, and visitors to the gathering gave me a great welcome. handing out CISN stickers and with no shortage of things going on, you couldn’t be bored. From the Motorbike Show and Shine, to the mouthwatering eats like smokies and hamburgers. The Ride brought people from the locals of Redwater to some city slickers but they were all welcome and having a good time. Even a young biker brought his small motorcycle out, forcing his dad to chase him, I wasn’t the only one that enjoyed a laugh. After all the meaning of this day was to gather donations and money for the the Redwater food bank and it was great to see the community of Redwater get the support it did from the generous motorcycle community.
